15 photos showing why El Nido and Coron are the ultimate beach destinations

el nido

Be it for adventure or relaxing, the beaches in El Nido are always a top choice to spend your holidays and in the next article I will show you 15 photographs to convince you of it.

Which is your favourite destination? This is probably one of the questions I heard the most during my travels and although I don´t have a favourite destination, I DO have a favourite beach destination.

The first time I heard about El Nido & Coron was a couple of years ago. I was preparing myself for a semester abroad in Singapore and I saw a beautiful video from a place where the water is crystal clear, the limestone looks like art and the sand is so white and refreshing that just by watching the video you feel like in the middle of a postcard.

Not as popular as Boracay, El Nido & Coron are located in northern Palawan, an island on the west of the Philippines. A diver´s paradise which is not as popular as other South East Asian destinations and where photographs practically speak for themselves.

No wonder why Alex Garland got his inspiration for the book The Beach there, the book which later was adapted for the screen with Leonardo DiCaprio as the main character.

With no further delay I will now let you enjoy this compilation of photographs from El Nido and Coron. Thanks to my friend Angela for contributing the amazing photographs from Coron.

Perfect beaches, crystal clear water and beautiful limestone. El Nido & Coron are destinations for any kind of traveler. A paradise for divers, a dream for couples and an adventure for travelers looking for sports like kayaking and snorkeling. These are reasons for you to put both destinations on your bucket list for next year.
