Arrival guide for the best view from the airplane

Best seat from an airplane

Skylines, coastlines, or iconic mountains. This infograph shows where you need to seat to get the best view from the airplane

Each one of us dreams about the perfect view when landing in New York City or Paris. A clear view of the Eifel Tower or Manhattan skyline shining at night. However, catching the perfect view of your dream city depends a lot on luck, weather conditions and where do you sit. This infograph will at least help you with the last one. This is an arrival guide for the best view from the airplane.

Which side of the window seat?

Which seat has the best view of Manhattan, Berlin or Singapore depends a lot in which airport are you landing. Berlin has TXL and SFX and New York has at least 2 city airports where you land to. However, with this infograph you can at least increase your chances of catching that perfect view when you land or depart from a city.

Although some airports have multiple landing strips, I have tried several of these in the past years and I can tell you. Sunset over the Toronto skyline does look beautiful.

Remember that you can pre-select your seats with most airlines weeks before your departure. If you are traveling with an airline that doesn’t let you change your ticket, you can always ask nicely at the counter. They will probably give it to you.
