Can you recognize these Colombian breakfasts

Have you been traveling all around Colombia? We have a test for you: Are you able to recognize some of these Colombian breakfasts?

As a Colombian who lives abroad I get often asked – What do I miss the most? – and without hesitation I like to say that I miss my Colombian breakfasts.

Colombian breakfast can be simple, large, healthy, unhealthy, very unhealthy, sweet or salty. There are so many possibilities and variations that your first impression probably was if the breakfast was meant to be lunch.

And while backpacking Colombia, you might find in most hostels or hotels an average breakfast of eggs, bread and coffee, those who decide to explore and a little bit further, will encounter a whole new world of food. After that, you won’t be able to eat breakfast in the hotel again.

Desayunaderos are restaurants that open very early in the morning and offer traditional Colombian breakfast for less than 3 Euros.

Since I wanted to test travelers in Colombia how much they know about Colombian breakfasts, I decided to create a quiz with 10 photographs of different breakfast choices and see how many of you get all points.

It´s time to get some appetite and see how many Colombian breakfast can you recognize. The ones who get all 10 points will receive an invisible empanada from me.
