Breaking cities: How much is a day in Amsterdam?

Amstedam, Netherlands

With a population of only 800.000 but attracting more than 4,5 million tourists every year  Amsterdam is not only a city of liberties and tolerance but also one of the most cultural, safe and multicultural cities in the world. Amsterdam can be pricey, especially if you are traveling in summer or during christmas holidays. However, with this guide you can see which possibilities you have and how you can start planning your travels better.

With accomodations in a price range between 25-70 Euros and no discounts at museums for European citizens or students, Amsterdam will make you dig deep into your pockets, but it will also make your experience in Europe unforgettable.

Based on some calculations, daily expenses in Amsterdam can start from 40 Euros a day and for more details I will show you some real prices in the chart below.
